This transition is part of our strategy to provide an even more flexible and efficient service and to maintain a stable supply chain for our valued customers, with all shipments now originating from within the European Union.

There will be no changes to the products received, Edmund Optics BV is a new distribution centre in our global operation, designed to further enhance our service levels.

All orders placed after the 18th November 2024 should be issued to Edmund Optics BV. Invoices for these orders will be issued by Edmund Optics BV.

Yes, our new details are as follows:

EU transactions will be shipped from the new distribution centre located at: Edmund Optics BV, De Maas 22B, 5684 PL Best, The Netherlands

• Shipments to customer in the Netherlands will be subject to domestic VAT of 21%.
• Shipments to customers in the EU where a valid VAT number has been provided, will not pay duties or taxes.
• Shipments to non-VAT registered companies will be subject to Dutch VAT of 21%.
• Shipments to private individuals, will be subject to VAT at the applicable rate of the destination country.

• The change in contracting partner and shipping location currently only applies to customers within the European Union.
• Customers in the United Kingdom, or outside the EU will continue to contract with Edmund Optics Ltd and orders will be fulfilled by our warehouse in the UK.

Please contact us to request an RMA number for all returns. Returned goods should now be sent to:

Credit memos for returned goods, and replacement orders will be issued by Edmund Optics BV.

• New customer accounts will be created, but to ensure a seamless transition all data will be carried over to your new customer account, including payment terms.
• Quotations issued by Edmund Optics Ltd will remain valid with Edmund Optics BV.
• Web account logins and order history will remain the same.

• Orders placed before the changeover, with delivery dates before the end of 2024 will continue to be shipped from the originally confirmed location with a contracting partner of Edmund Optics Ltd.
• Orders with delivery dates in 2025 will be transferred to your new contracting partner Edmund Optics BV.
• We will transfer the order using the same PO reference, and no new paperwork is required by Edmund Optics.
• We will send a new order confirmation for any transferred order.
• If you need to reissue the order to your new contracting partner Edmund Optics BV using a new PO number, please ensure this is clearly marked as a replacement order to avoid duplication.
