Edmund Optics Culture Week 2018

I love culture week. It gets people from every department participating together. We create teams, we get to have fun, and compete with people that we normally don't see on a day-to-day basis. Feeling great, pumped for this whole week. We have all kinds of events. We just had a picture taken with the teams. So, today we have the paper airplane toss. Fun event, do it every single year. Every day we have a different event, at two different times during the day. There's a lot of trash talk, it's a lot of fun. You get to meet people from different departments and work together as a team to beat the other teams who are all different departments. Gives us a chance to get away from our work and relax a little bit and have a little friendly competition. Teaches everybody at Edmund Optics, from the new people to the people that have been here for twenty plus years, that we all like to come together as a team when we operate as a family, things tend to get done smooth. It really helps our customers out because everybody has open lines of communication. I am hoping Hydra wins but if they don't we still had a great week. It's so much fun it brings everybody together and then it's back to work afterwards. Hi, I'm Mari Edmund. We come out once a year. We have culture week. We play games and there's nothing I love more than the opportunity to get to meet our other team members and the Edmund family. When we work as a family, we work as a team and that helps us to accomplish our mission. We believe the future depends on optics. I hope you'll join us.
