  • Tip/Tilt Range:±5°

TECHSPEC® Stainless Steel Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts are a high precision and accurate solution for the adjustment of optical components in a wide range of applications. These mounts are constructed from stainlesssteel, which has a lower Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) than the aluminum TECHSPEC Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts; lower CTE ensures higher pointing stability in high power/higher temperature applications. Preinstalled locking collars, integrated into the adjustment screw bushings, can be used to lock the mount’s tip and tilt position in shock and vibration situations and provide additional pointing stability under temperature gradient conditions. Both two-screw and three-screw versions are available, where three-screw versions specifically allow for additional translation in the optical axis in addition to tip and tilt; adjustment knobs on all mounts are removable for Allen Key or motorized adjustment (2mm key size). TECHSPEC® Stainless Steel Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts incorporate finger cuts to make the mounting of optical components convenient and accurate. These mounts feature counterbore mounting holes for #8-32 or M4 mounting hardware, and each counterbore mounting hole features internal M6 x 1.0 mounting threads to secure system integration.

Note: Each mount includes a hardware kit containing post-mounting screws and Allen wrenches for adjustment.

Stainless steel inserts are used for all adjustment screw contact surfaces and specially designed dampening grease provides smooth movement.

These mounts are designed to connect to our TECHSPEC® Metric Stainless Steel Mounting Posts. When the male-thread adapter is removed from the post, either an M4 or 8-32 tapped hole is available to accept the post-mounting screw from the mount. TECHSPEC® Optical Mount Accessories are available to easily integrate TECHSPEC® Stainless Steel Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts allow into a variety of application setups.
